The project asserts its urbanity and develops on a human scale through the organisation of networks and volumes in reference to an existing network of streets.
It takes advantage of the existing neoclassical building as a temple like entrance and develops downhill from the Rue Du Petit Chêne and unfolds round a generous glass-covered space that is the heart, an urban public multi-faceted square, of this important administrative programme at the centre of the city of Lausanne.
